Meta Announces New Developer Circles Program Across Africa

Meta has announced an expanded Developer Circles programme across Africa, establishing new regional hubs expected to connect more than 10,000 developers with mentors, technical resources, and community events.

The initiative will focus on mobile development, AR/VR tooling, and responsible AI, with monthly meetups planned in Lagos, Nairobi, Cape Town, and Kigali.

Student leads can apply to host university chapters and receive starter kits including swag, curriculum guides, and access to Meta engineer office hours.
